Coronach
Coronach is located 10 km north of the Canada-US border in south central Saskatchewan. It’s a warm and welcoming community that is the starting point for the Outlaw Trail between Canada and Mexico and is a gateway to the Big Muddy Badlands. The nearby Buffalo Jump was important to the survival of Canada's Indigenous peoples.
The landscape is rich with agriculture and ranching. There is a coal mine located in the area which has one of the largest draglines in North America. This mine serves the local coal fired generating plant. Poplar River Power Station produces approximately 1/3 of the electricity for the province of Saskatchewan.
