The South Central Enterprise Region includes 15 villages, 2 resort villages, and 29 rural municipalities:
Avonlea is a beautiful community nestled between the Avonlea Creek Valley and the Dirt Hills, in the heart of a rich agricultural trading area. Avonlea is a delightful and charming rural community.
The community is named after "Anne of Avonlea", written by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Avonlea lives up to its name by offering a relaxed and friendly rural lifestyle, with residents enjoying complete community services, exciting recreation facilities and a vibrant business sector.

Belle Plaine is situated on the TransCanada Highway #1 and the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) Mainline, approximately halfway between the cities of Moose Jaw and Regina. Translated literally the name means 'Beautiful Plain'.
Most of the population of Belle Plaine work outside the community in nearby industries such as Yara Canada, Mosaic and Canadian Salt. Belle Plaine has been endorsed by the cities of Moose Jaw and Regina as an important link in the industrial development corridor. The community has a motel, gas station, lounge, and restaurant.

Briercrest is twenty-five minutes away from Moose Jaw. Briercrest is joined to the TransCanada Highway by Highway #339. The economy is driven by agriculture and ranching. Most businesses in the community support this industry through farm equipment repair.
Briercrest School serves as one of the community's finest amenities. It is a modern building with excellent teacher to student ratios. It has a state of the art modern computer lab, a well equipped gymnasium, outdoor tennis courts and a new playground. There are special education services including work education.

Caronport is located 15 minutes west of Moose Jaw on the Trans-Canada Highway (halfway between Winnipeg and Calgary). Caronport is the home of the extensively developed 160-acre campus of Briercrest College and Seminary, which is made up of Caronport High School, Briercrest College, Briercrest Seminary, and Briercrest Distance Learning. Caronport also has an elementary school and a chapel which seats 2,400.
Caronport has a variety of recreational opportunities including tennis courts, an ice rink, gymnasium, children's playgrounds, and full-size athletic fields. Besant Regional Park and Campground is located 6 minutes west of Caronport on the Trans-Canada.
As one of a handful of private boarding schools in Saskatchewan, Caronport High School (CHS) offers all the amenities found in Christian boarding schools, coupled with the stability of a day-school community set on a college campus. This connection with the college and seminary makes CHS one of the more unique Christian schools in Canada, offering big-school facilities to a relatively small school population (275 students in grades 9-12).

Chaplin is on the Trans-Canada Highway approximately 85 km from Moose Jaw. The main industries of Chaplin are farming and Saskatchewan Minerals. Saskatchewan Minerals harvests the sodium sulphate deposits of Chaplin Lake, the second largest saline water body in Canada, through an evaporation method. Artemia Canada catches and packages the brine shrimp that thrive in the salt water of Chaplin Lake.
Chaplin Lake was designated a Western Hemispheric Shorebird Reserve Network site in May 1997. This is the highest designation that a reserve can receive and there are only 5 sites recognized in Canada.
An interpretive center near the village of Chaplin offers a wealth of information about the birds, the brine shrimp industry and this areas significance as it connects to the hemispheric web of migration. Shorebirds, wildlife, conservation, local industries and agriculture will all be included in the tours.

Coderre is a small village of approximately 50 people located about 40 kilometres north of Gravelbourg.

Drinkwater is a small village located about 32 kilometers south east of Moose Jaw. It is situated on a branch of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Drinkwater was named after Charles Drinkwater who was an original director of the railway.

Keeler is a small village located about 50 kilometres north west of Moose Jaw in the Rural Municipality of Marquis.

Limerick is a small village that is named after the Irish city of Limerick. The population of Limerick is approximately 150. It is about 150 km north of the US border and a few km from the towns of Lafleche and Gravelbourg.

Marquis is a farming village located northwest of Moose Jaw on the Canadian Pacific Railway line. It was incorporated in 1910.

Mortlach is a village located on the Trans Canada Highway about 40 km west of Moose Jaw. The village was named by George Stephen, the first President of the CPR, for his home Parish of Mortlach, Scotland.
In 1904, the Canadian Pacific Railway's (CPR) new line became operational and the village of Mortlach came to life. By the spring of 1905, many people began building.
Mortlach incorporated as a Village in 1909 with about 700 residents. Mortlach has a large variety of attractions, including a community orchard, churches, parks and restaurants, a library, museum and beautiful scenery. Mortlach has one school that covers Kindergarten through grade 12 that boasts a strong academic record with a mix of sports, cultural, and social aspects.

Pense is a quiet village that is centrally located in the Moose Jaw-Regina Industrial Corridor. It is a great alternative for new business because of its location and it has a much lower cost of living than the nearby cities. Pense’s water comes from the City of Regina's main line and has a new 100,000 gallon reservoir that was built in 2006.
There are many businesses operating in or near Pense with the largest being Mosaic, Canadian Salt and Yara Canada.

Shamrock is a small village located on Highway 58. The main economic activity is livestock and crop production.

Tuxford is situated 14 miles north of Moose Jaw at the junction of Highways #2 and #42. The Village is named after George Tuxford, an area resident who was instrumental in persuading the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) officials to construct the rail line north of Moose Jaw and through the Tuxford area. The Village of Tuxford was incorporated in 1907.
The majority of residents are either involved in farming, as the village is situated in one of the best farming areas of the province, or working at various jobs in the surrounding areas.
The location of the Village makes the recreation facilities of Moose Jaw and the Buffalo Pound area very accessible. The facilities of city life are available while residing in an appealing rural atmosphere.

Wood Mountain is located in south central Saskatchewan, one kilometer from the junction of Highways 18 and 358. There are a number of parks close by Wood Mountain; Wood Mountain Regional Park is only 5 minutes from the village and The Old Post Provincial Historical Park is 6 minutes away.
Major deposits of kaolin occur in the White Mud Formation located in the areas of Wood Mountain. These formations can be seen as white outcrops in many places around Wood Mountain.
